On the Ist April a team of locals and friends from Drusilla’s and the New Forest Hotel in Ashurst are cycling from the New Forest Hotel to Drusilla’s – a 25 mile route across the New Forest with many breaks to refuel at other pubs along the way – click here to view/ print/download the proposed Route Map ! We are raising money for Julia’s House – the children’s hospice in Poole, Dorset. Drusilla’s is delighted to welcome the Verwood Trad Jazz Club on the 3rd Thursday of every month. The doors open at 7.15pm and jazz is played between 8 – 11pm – price £8 per person on the door. Food is available between 6 – 9pm – see our menu pages for special offers and our range of menus.

This annual event, which supports the Victoria Hospital in Wimborne, features steam engines (who stop off on their way to the Great Dorset Steam Fayre), real ales, a BBQ/ Hog Roast and live music – a winning combination! Free entrance and free parking. This year (2011) this event will take place on Saturday the 27th August – visit our steam rally page for more info and to see pictures of last years event.
Thursday 25th evening – start of the ale fest
Friday 26th evening – live music from fabulous Irish band Shebeen (approx 8pm), BBQ and real ale fest
Saturday 27th – steam engines will be arriving all day and evening, Hog Roast and BBQ, live music from 2pm ’til late, bouncy castle, tombola and face painting
