We cater for a wide range of functions either at Drusilla’s, at your home or at your chosen venue.
Drusilla’s has a function room (seating up to 60/ 70) with it’s own designated entrance and bar and a very large car park so is the ideal location for all your functioning needs.
We regularly cater for weddings, christenings, birthdays and anniversaries etc… There is no hire charge for the function room for bookings including food (for a minimum of 40 people). Choose from a range of menu options from cold finger buffets to bespoke 5 course menus. Give us a call to choose food to suit both your taste and budget. Car club rallies
The large car park makes Drusilla’s an ideal destination for motor rallies. Arrange your vehicles around our garden area and enjoy a BBQ or Hog Roast or meal of your choice whilst admiring them!
Hog roasts
Why not hire our hog roast for a party at home or at the pub?
Hire charges are: machine hire – £170, gas approx – £30, delivery charge – £25 upwards (depending on distance), we can also supply the pig (price depends on weight required).
Alternatively we can do the whole thing for you, prices start from £14 per head (for a minimum of 70 guests) and includes: machine hire; gas; local pig (free range and hand reared); cooking and carving; selection of 6 salads; jacket potatoes; breads and condiments (see the sample menu below). Why not hire our garden marquee – seen in the photo at the top of the page with the red Ferrari’s? This offers protection from both the sun and rain and has sides should they be required.
Our large rustic canvas marquee which can accomodate in excess of 100 people is ideal all sorts of functions. Team it up with your choice of food from hog roast or buffet to Drusilla’s Feast (a sumptious and decadent hot and cold buffet) or waitress service meal – the choice is yours! Ideal for those wishing to celebrate or get together in a beautiful setting with friendly service. The perfect choice for a rustic wedding celebration that won’t break the bank! Rustic weddings
Want to have a lovely relaxing day celebrating with friends that won’t break the bank?
Picture the scene – a 200 year old thatched character-full pub with a stunning view across rolling hills to an ancient monument, an old fashioned canvas marquee to shield you from either sun or rain and the meal of your choice to suit your budget. Many couples opt for our hog roast and use our outside furniture! As we are a pub you can choose whether to buy the first drink only, have a “pay bar” or put a tab behind the bar.

Functions at the Horton Village Hall
We frequently cater for functions at the recently built Horton and Chalbury Village Hall which is situated a couple of hundred yards downhill from Drusilla’s. We can provide a bar and catering for all your functioning needs.

Bar services
We only provide bar services for outside functions as part of a food and drink catering package. Setting up costs vary depending on your needs. The cost for a basic set up is usually approx £180 including the cost of acquiring a temporary events notice.
